The rubber grip on the inside keeps them from sliding or riding up, and they’re snug without being too tight. Super reliable and surprisingly useful to have extras on hand.

Headband is discrete but very effective. Slightly wider than a shoestring with a sweat resistant back and sweat absorbing top/middle layer. Looks great on your head. Stretchy one-size.
